A little peice I did in my visual design class. I didnt really get to finish it and there is no way for me to get it to my house to finish working on it, so I have to give up on it now :/ but hopefully this opened my eyes up for how to do these types of art. Ive seen them around, though I never really attempted to do anything like it. Was pretty fun, maybe Ill do some more.

By the way, I think this scared my teacher :)

That peeling paint effect is wonderful. Nice color scheme, too--reminiscent of wood, which makes for some nice cognitive dissonance since it's a face.

Suburbia: where they rip out trees and then name streets after them.
awesome stuff - color the eyes red and it would turn into hatred i guess :)
very nice - very very nice work.

A million years ago, people used to run through the woods, climb up mountains, and dance in the moonlight - because there wasn't anything better to do. There still isn't.
Dude, your eye is on fire... better take care of that, with like... a doctor or something.. =P

damn thats great! lOve the expression and glare that the eye gives, very creepy
paralyzing fear more like! this is such a strong piece. it reminds me of those old films that take place in a haunted mansion and the paintings come to life and are all freaky. great job with this! you should definitely keep exploring this style - i can't believe this is your first!
